# How Gift the Chat works during your LIVE

Gift the Chat lets people watching your LIVE purchase store vouchers for others to use in your shop. A viewer can send vouchers to specific people or open them for the audience to claim. You do not need to set up or fund the gift.

A voucher is credit for one seller’s shop. It is not cash, Palmstreet-wide credit, or a transferable balance.

### How Gift the Chat works

* The sender chooses a voucher value for each recipient.
* The sender can choose Specific recipients or Open claim.
* Specific recipients receive the voucher directly.
* Open claim vouchers are first come, first served and can only be claimed by viewers currently in the LIVE.
* The sender’s name and the gifting activity appear publicly in the LIVE.

### What happens during your LIVE

1. A viewer taps Gift the chat in the LIVE.
2. They choose Specific recipients or Open claim.
3. They set the Gift value each recipient will receive.
4. They review the purchase and select Pay & send gift.
5. Palmstreet posts the gifting activity in the LIVE so the sender, recipients, and other viewers can see it.

Viewers can send store vouchers in two ways: **Specific recipients** or **Open claim**.

* The viewer chooses who will receive the gift from people in the chat or their mutual followers.
* Each selected recipient receives the chosen voucher value for your shop.

* Only people currently watching the LIVE can claim it.
* Vouchers are available first come, first served until all available gifts are claimed.

### What you’ll see when someone sends a gift

When someone sends a gift during your LIVE, you’ll see a notification in the LIVE showing that they sent store vouchers to your viewers.

### What you need to do

No setup is required. Gift to Viewers is initiated and paid for by viewers.

* The LIVE displays gifting activity so the seller and audience can celebrate the moment.
* A voucher does not change the seller’s listing price or fulfillment workflow.
* When a recipient uses a voucher, the seller fulfills the order as usual.

### Where to view voucher activity

You can review activity under Profile → Earnings → Store voucher → View all.

This area shows voucher claims, voucher use on orders, refunds, and other voucher activity. When a voucher is used on an order, the transaction can include the related order number. Voucher information may also appear in your LIVE summary and order earnings details.

### How recipients use the voucher

* A store voucher is credit for your shop only. It cannot be used with another seller.
* Recipients can view available store vouchers under Profile → Settings → My Credit → Store Voucher.
* When the recipient places an eligible order from your shop, their available store voucher balance is applied to that order.
* If the voucher does not cover the full eligible order amount, the recipient pays the remaining balance with another payment method.
