## FAQ

**What permissions are granted to Palmstreet when connecting YouTube or Facebook accounts?**

To support multistreaming, Palmstreet requests a limited set of permissions required for livestream setup and engagement:

* **Create live broadcasts:** Enables livestream initiation directly from Palmstreet.
* **Read live comments:** Allows access to viewer comments for real-time interaction.
* **Access basic channel or page information:** Ensures the livestream connects to the correct account.

Palmstreet **does not**:

* Edit or delete existing videos, posts, or comments.
* Modify channel or page details, ratings, or follower data.
* Post content outside of the livestream environment.

Access is read-only where applicable and used solely to support multistream broadcasts.

**Do I need to start or schedule livestreams separately on each platform?**

No. Once multistreaming is enabled and your accounts are connected, your show will automatically stream to all selected platforms when it starts on Palmstreet. There’s no need to create or start separate livestreams.

**Can I enable multistreaming after scheduling a LIVE show?**

No. Multistreaming must be set up when you first schedule your LIVE show. Once it’s created, you cannot go back and link new platforms. Be sure to enable multistreaming during the initial setup.

**I see the message “The user is not enabled for live streaming.” What does it mean?**‏

This typically means the platform account does not meet livestreaming eligibility criteria. Please review the Platform Requirements above to ensure all conditions are met.
