# How to use seller coupons

  ‌‍Seller coupons on Palmstreet help sellers offer customized discounts to attract buyers, reward followers, and drive urgency during LIVE shows and other sales moments. Whether your goal is to boost engagement, bring in first-time buyers, or increase conversion, seller coupons give you a flexible way to promote your shop directly on Palmstreet.

With seller coupons, you can create customized offers, attach coupons to LIVE shows, share coupon links externally, and manage active promotions from your Seller Coupons page.

**Key Benefits:**

* **Multiple Coupon Types:** Choose the coupon type that best fits your goals, whether you're rewarding followers, attracting new buyers, or running a general promotion.
* **Customizable Coupon Creation**: Create coupons with custom codes, discount types, validity periods, and quantity limits tailored to your promotion.
* **Real-Time Integration with LIVE Shows:** Attach eligible coupons before or during LIVE shows, share up to three per session, and adjust offers based on audience engagement.
* **Easy Sharing and Managemen:** Easily share coupons across platforms and manage or deactivate them as needed.

#### Coupon Types

* **Manual Coupon:** Create a custom coupon with your own discount amount, validity period, and quantity limit. Manual Coupons can be attached to LIVE shows and shared through coupon links or coupon codes.
* **New Follower Coupon:** Reward new followers with an automatic discount. When a customer follows your shop for the first time, they will automatically receive the coupon and can use it while the coupon is valid.
* **New Buyer Coupon:** Encourage first-time buyers to place their first order with you by offering an exclusive discount. Buyers who have never previously purchased from your shop can automatically see and claim the coupon in your LIVE shows and Purges.

**Note:** Each seller can have one active **New Buyer Coupon** at a time. Eligible buyers can view and claim it from your LIVE shows and Purges. Buyers who have already placed a paid order with your shop are not eligible to view, claim, or use the coupon. If a claimed coupon expires unused, it can be claimed again by eligible buyers when a new valid coupon is available.

### Simple, Flexible Coupon Creation

Sellers can create personalized coupons directly in the app under *Profile > Settings > Seller Coupons*.

* **Custom Redemption Codes**: Create unique, memorable codes like *FLASHSALE10* that buyers can easily use to claim discounts.
* **Set Coupon Validity**: Choose between a fixed date range or a custom duration for the coupon’s availability, ensuring it aligns with specific promotions or events.
* **Flexible Discount Types**: Choose between a percentage discount (e.g., 10% off) or a fixed dollar amount (e.g., $10 off) depending on what suits the promotion.
* **Quantity Management**: Easily set the quantity of available coupons to control the distribution and maintain exclusivity.
* **Confirm Before Creation:** A detailed preview displays all configured coupon details—including name, discount, quantity, validity period, and code—prior to confirmation, ensuring accuracy before publishing.

**Note**: Once created, coupons can be redeemed immediately, but they can only be used within the validity period. If the coupon’s validity period expires, it can no longer be redeemed.

### Manage Seller Coupons for LIVE Shows

Coupons can be attached to both upcoming and ongoing LIVE shows via the settings menu “...”. Sellers can select from existing coupons or create new ones. A maximum of three coupons can be linked to a single show.

**Attach Coupons to Upcoming LIVE Shows:** Add coupons during the event setup to prepare promotions ahead of time.

**Attach Coupons to Ongoing LIVE Shows:** Add new or additional coupons while the show is live, allowing sellers to adjust promotions based on engagement.

**View or Detach Coupons During LIVE Shows:** Easily view or detach coupons in real time, allowing for quick adjustments.

### Easier Promotion and Control

Sellers can easily manage coupons:

* **Share Coupon Codes and Links**: Each coupon code and link can be copied with a single tap, making it easy to share via messages, social media, or any external platform.
* **Stop Issuing Coupons**: If a coupon needs to be removed, it can be deactivated at any time. Once stopped, the coupon can no longer be claimed by new buyers. However, users who have already claimed the coupon will still be able to use it, as long as it's within the validity period.
