We’re excited to announce the **Palmstreet Travel Sales Program** - a new way for trusted sellers to host international livestreams while traveling abroad and connect buyers directly with unique items from around the world. #### What is the Travel Sales Program?

The Palmstreet Travel Sales Program allows approved, U.S.-based sellers to go live from international nurseries and supplier facilities while continuing to serve their U.S. audience. While abroad, sellers can showcase inventory in real time.

This program is designed to expand access to global inventory while maintaining the high standards our community expects around quality, compliance, and customer experience.

#### How it Works

Sellers in the program will travel to partnered nurseries and facilities abroad to host an international livestream directly from the source. During these shows, they can:

* Showcase items in real time from international locations
* Engage with buyers through live chat and direct messaging
* Offer a more immersive, behind-the-scenes shopping experience

All orders are then carefully shipped to the U.S. and delivered to buyers in accordance with established timelines and quality standards. Please note that upon arrival in the U.S., plants must be shipped to end buyers immediately and should not be held for rehabbing or acclimation purposes.

#### Policies & Guidelines

* **Customer Support**: Sellers must handle all buyer communication and resolve issues quickly or risk fund deductions.
* **Payout Timing**: Payouts are manually reviewed and released 48 hours after items are received in good condition.
* **Order Fulfillment**: Orders must be delivered within 30 days, or up to 6 weeks for extended sales, with clear timelines communicated upfront (on a case-by-case basis).
* **Shipping Method**: All orders must ship via air cargo (airport-to-airport) with sellers handling customs, compliance, and final delivery.
  * Non-plant categories are *not* required to ship via air cargo.
* **Responsibility**: Sellers are responsible for all legal requirements, including duties, permits, and import documentation.
* **Cancellations**: Buyers can cancel delayed orders, with sellers charged $5 per plant (max $50 per buyer).
* **Pre-sales**: Not permitted.
* **Wholesale Language**: Not permitted.

Participation in the Travel Sales Program is **by approval only**. Sellers must meet Palmstreet’s standards and agree to program guidelines before joining.

To ensure a great experience for buyers, sellers are expected to:

#### Assumption of Risk & Liability

Participation in the International Travel Sales Program is entirely voluntary and carries a high level of risk. By choosing to participate, sellers acknowledge and accept full ownership and responsibility for all aspects of the sale, including but not limited to product condition, fulfillment, shipping timelines, and final delivery outcomes. Sellers are solely responsible for any issues arising from late deliveries, as well as any missing, damaged, or dead-on-arrival products.

Please note that **Palmstreet’s Late Delivery Protection** program does not apply to International Travel Sales. As such, Palmstreet will not provide refunds, replacements, or insurance coverage for orders impacted by shipping delays or any resulting product damage or loss. Sellers are expected to plan accordingly and assume all associated risks when participating in this program.

* Maintain a minimum 4.8-star review score
* Participants must sign the Travel Sales Agreement and the Policy Guidelines one-sheet

Because Travel Sales introduces additional risk and operational complexity, priority is given to sellers who have demonstrated they can execute at a high level and maintain trust with buyers.

**What risks should I consider before participating in Travel Sales?**

The Travel Sales Program carries a higher level of risk compared to standard domestic sales, and sellers should carefully evaluate their ability to manage these risks before participating.

Key considerations include:

* **Shipping delays:** International logistics can be unpredictable due to customs processing, carrier delays, or other factors outside of your control
* **Product condition:** Extended transit times may impact plant health, including the risk of damage or plants arriving in poor condition
* **Full accountability:** Sellers are solely responsible for all fulfillment outcomes, including late deliveries, missing orders, and damaged or dead-on-arrival products
* **No platform protection:** Palmstreet’s Late Delivery Protection does not apply to Travel Sales, meaning refunds, replacements, or insurance coverage will not be provided by the platform for issues related to delays or transit conditions
* **Operational complexity:** Managing international sourcing, compliance, and communication with buyers requires additional planning and coordination

**Who is responsible if a plant is delayed, damaged, or arrives dead?**

The seller is fully responsible for all outcomes related to the order. This includes any delays, as well as plants that arrive damaged or dead.

No. Palmstreet’s Late Delivery Protection does not apply to Travel Sales orders.

**Are dual-streams with international nurseries allowed?**

Dual-streaming with international nurseries MUST be approved ahead of time. Approved domestic sellers still need to be approved to dual-stream with sellers who are abroad.

Sellers must first complete an in-person international live and demonstrate the ability to successfully host live sales and fulfill orders. After this, they may be considered for approval to dual-stream. All dual-streaming participation is subject to review and approval by Palmstreet.

**Can I hold plants for acclimation before shipping to buyers?**

No. Plants must be shipped to buyers immediately upon arrival in the U.S. and should not be held for rehabbing or acclimation.

This ensures orders are delivered within expected timelines and helps maintain consistency across the buyer experience.

**Am I responsible for import permits, inspections, or customs clearance?**

Yes. Sellers are responsible for ensuring all applicable import requirements are met, including permits, inspections, and customs clearance.
