What qualifies as a self-sponsored unicorn campaign
To qualify as a self-sponsored unicorn campaign, your show must include all of the following:
A giveaway prize valued at $250 or more
A social media post/reel promoting your unicorn show
A minimum of 50 bookmarks on your scheduled LIVE

You can apply for a self-funded unicorn campaign if you meet both of the following conditions. These requirements help ensure you have the experience needed to host a successful, high-quality unicorn show.
You have achieved over $1,000 GMV in a single LIVE in the past 30 days
You have streamed for more than 20 total hours on Palmstreet

Schedule your LIVE at least 3 days before it begins
Highlight your giveaway in the title. Include clear titles like “Unicorn Giveaway” or "$1000 Monstera Mint Giveaway"
Use a standout thumbnail. Feature your unicorn giveaway item in your Palmstreet livestream thumbnail — this helps your show stand out on the app
Promote your giveaway on social media
Post about your show on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook.
Your post must clearly feature your giveaway prize (worth at least $250).
Encourage users to bookmark and join your live show.

How to promote your unicorn giveaway
A strong social media presence helps your unicorn giveaway attract more viewers and drive higher GMV. Here are a few simple ways to promote your giveaway:
Show your giveaway item in posts. Use clear, eye-catching photos or short videos of your unicorn giveaway in your social posts. Include your livestream link in Instagram Stories, captions, or even your profile bio so followers can easily find and bookmark your show.
Showcase your items for sale. In the days leading up to your livestream, feature the products you’ll be selling alongside your giveaway item. This helps build anticipation and encourages followers to explore what you’ll have in your show.
Surface your livestream link. Include your livestream link in Instagram Stories, captions, and posts, and consider adding it to your profile ahead of the show so followers can easily bookmark your show or join Palmstreet.
Tag Palmstreet and use hashtags. Follow @palmstreetapp and use tags like #PalmstreetUnicorn or #LiveGiveaway so we can discover and share your content.
Keep your audience informed. Post short reminders, teaser clips, or countdowns leading up to your show. You can also share quick Stories explaining how followers can sign up for Palmstreet and get a first-purchase discount — it’s a simple way to help them join before your livestream.

Can anyone apply for a self-funded Unicorn Giveaway?
Yes, any Palmstreet seller can apply for a Unicorn Giveaway, but you must be approved before you can be included on the Unicorn tab in the app.
What are the seller requirements to be included on the Unicorn tab?
To be included on the Unicorn Giveaway tab, you must have achieved over $1000 GMV (sales) in a single show in the past 30 days. You must also have 20 hours of live selling experience. If you aren’t sure if you meet these requirements, you can request the info from your rep or Customer Support.
What are the live show requirements to be included on the Unicorn tab?
In addition to the seller requirements above, your live show must have a minimum of 50 bookmarks and your giveaway must be valued at $250+ for one item or a bundle. You must include “Unicorn” in your show title and use an eye-catching cover photo. You also must show proof of at least one social post promoting your show.

Why wasn’t my Unicorn approved?
If your Unicorn Giveaway show was not approved to be featured on the Unicorn tab, it could be for a few reasons. You might not meet the seller requirements yet ($1000 sales in one show and 20 hours live selling experience). Or your live show might not meet the requirement of 50 bookmarks. Also, make sure that your application is complete before you submit it. You must include your live show date, the live show link, and a link to a social media post where you have promoted your show. If there is missing information, your application won’t be approved.
How many self-funded Unicorn Giveaways can I host a month?
As long as you meet all the seller and show requirements outlined above, there is no limit to the number of Unicorn shows you can apply for.
How many sellers can sign up for this campaign?
There is no cap on the number of signups. This could change in the future depending on the success of the campaign.
What price point should my giveaway item be for a self-funded Unicorn?
Your giveaway item should be worth $250 or more. If you don’t have items that fall into that price point, you can also give away a bundle of items equal to at least $250.
