Why We're Making This Change
As Palmstreet has grown, we've strengthened our Risk Control system to create a more secure environment for everyone. The previous 5-order threshold was a great starting point, but we needed a clearer standard that truly represents consistent, reliable seller performance.
The new 50 unique buyers requirement ensures that the Trusted Seller badge signals genuine marketplace experience to buyers, which ultimately benefits both seller credibility and buyer confidence. This creates a stronger foundation for long-term growth and sustainability across our platform.
What This Means for You
Managing Cash Flow During the Transition
We understand that payout timing is crucial for your business operations. While Trusted Sellers enjoy fast payouts (available once the carrier scans the package), other sellers will receive payouts after orders are marked as delivered.
To help manage cash flow, we offer the Overdraft feature for sellers using Palmstreet shipping labels. This allows you to cover shipping costs before payout, keeping your operations running smoothly.
Tracking Your Progress
You can easily monitor your progress toward Trusted Seller status:
Go to Seller Hub → My Orders
Select "Delivered" to view all successfully completed orders
This view shows how many unique buyers have received their orders
The requirement counts all successfully delivered orders since you first joined Palmstreet, so your entire selling history contributes toward this milestone.
