How to send a gift on Palmstreet
You can send items as gifts on Palmstreet by selecting the gift option during checkout. This is available for eligible listings in Shops and the Marketplace, and lets you ship items directly to the recipient.
How to send a gift
Step 1: Browse the Marketplace and look for listings with a “Gift option available” label

Step 2: Select the items and proceed to checkout
Step 3: Select “Send as a gift” and enter the following details:
Recipient’s name (required)
Recipient’s email (required)
Your name – so they know who it’s from (required)
A gift message (optional)

Step 4: Complete checkout as usual
Once submitted, the gift information will be attached to the order.
Please note that PayPal is currently not supported for gift orders. All other payment methods are accepted.
How to view gift order details
You can view gift order details on your Order Details and Order History pages, including:
A “🎁 This order is a gift” label
Your gift message
Recipient’s name, email, and shipping address

How to remove a gift order
You can remove the gift option before placing your order by following these steps at checkout:
Tap “This is a gift”
Select “Remove”
Confirm when prompted
How the recipient is notified
Once your order is marked as Shipped, the recipient will get a gift email that includes:
Your gift message
The product name (without pricing)
Your name
A tracking link
Helpful information
If your order is shipping to multiple addresses, shipping charges will apply separately for each address.
Gift wrap and printed cards aren’t available at this time.
Digital products and gift cards are not eligible to be sent as gifts.
FAQ
Can I send a gift to someone who doesn’t have a Palmstreet account?
Yes! Just enter their name, email, and shipping address at checkout. They don’t need an account to receive the gift.
Can I edit gift details after placing the order?
No. To avoid delivery complications, gift details can’t be changed once the order is submitted.
Can I use coupons or credits on gift orders?
Yes! Most promotions apply to gift orders. Just note that PayPal isn’t supported for gift orders at this time.
