How to stream using OBS on Palmstreet

OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is a popular, professional-grade tool for live streaming. Palmstreet now supports OBS through RTMP and OBS Studio integration, giving sellers more control, higher quality, and advanced streaming options compared to streaming directly from a phone.

What is OBS?

OBS is real-time messaging protocol software for live streaming. Palmstreet currently supports two modes:

  • RTMP (webcam option) – Allows you to go LIVE directly from the Seller Hub without using your phone.

  • OBS Studio – A separate app that lets you stream with advanced controls and settings for video, audio, and more.

Important: Live streaming is supported only on the Chrome browser. Please ensure you’re using Chrome. If you don’t see the “OBS Studio” option in your Seller Hub, contact Customer Support to request access.
